Individualized nutrition counseling for eating disorders and disordered eating to make peace with food, body and self

We all have a relationship with food…

and that relationship is influenced by a number of factors, from how our eating environment was structured during childhood, to the pervasive messages we’re exposed to on a regular basis through diet culture. This relationship can become messy and complicated, potentially leading to disordered eating and/or an eating disorder.

Those who reach out to us at Emily Reilly Nutrition are typically seeking support to make sense of their relationship to food (as well as to their body) in an effort to feel less controlled by it, and instead, to find balance, trust and freedom with it. Our dietitians understand that taking this courageous step to receive help does not often come easily, and may be intertwined with feelings of shame, discomfort and resistance. Holding space for all these feelings, while fostering trust and respect, is a tenant of our work with every individual seeking our care and support. And we are honored to be a part of one’s recovery journey.
